This waterproof goat jacket is ideal for show goats after clipping, elderly goats, or young goats. This waterproof and breathable blanket is cut from a robust 600D polyester outer with a coat polishing lining and a toasty 100G of technical Thermobonded fiberfill. This unique filling keeps your goat warm by delivering superior warmth and long-lasting heat retention.
The goat coat features an adjustable neck closure, adjustable belly band, and adjustable leg straps, allowing for a universal fit across all breeds of goat. The belly closure is fastened on the inside to keep mischievous 'friends' from unfastening the blanket for a safe and secure fit.
This unique blanket for goats is adjustable by approximately four inches to further accommodate various neck widths and girths. Finished with reflective strips for enhanced visibility, this goat jacket will protect your billy, buck, ram or kid in wet weather.
Love these coats, I own 8 for my wethers. These coats keep my boys warm and dry.
However:
These coats are made for females! The belly band goes right over where their penis would be. I've had to remove the belly bands so my boys can wear them. If they wore them with the belly bands they would urinate on them and would get urine scald. They work fabulously without belly bands.
Also, the company informed me they don't sell replacement leg straps, so I will have to find them elsewhere at some point
Our goat has always had to wear a horseware foal blanket and was so excited to find out Rambo made a goat coat! She took an XXXL, she is 180lbs, and although it isn't the same 200g full the foal blanket is, the fit is perfect! It doesn't cover up her knees, so she can get in and out the truck, she doesn't get tangled up when she gets up and down, and she can run and play without being uncomfortable. Love it!
