How it works
Red and infrared light penetrate the skin and are absorbed by mitochondria - the energy powerhouses of cells. This stimulation enhances cell function, repair and activity which may contribute to overall well-being. The 660nm red light targets the surface, while the 850nm infrared light penetrates deeper to reach soft tissues.

Each Horseware LED product will come with an instruction booklet outlining proper use and care.
As a general guide each LED wrap, pad or rug has three settings within each program and an automatic timer to turn off treatment after 15 minutes.
To use with solid light (Green Program):
1. Press the on/off button once (the button will turn green) to turn the Red Light therapy on.
2. Press the on/off button a second time (it will turn red) to turn on both the Red Light and Infrared Light.
3. Press a third time to turn on only the Infrared Light. Caution - the interior of the product may not look as though it is on, however, the infrared is on if the green on/off button is lit.
4. Press the on/off button a fourth time and the product will turn off and the button will no longer be lit.
To use the pulse feature (Blue Program):
1. Press the on/off button once quickly and a second time and hold for 3 seconds to turn on blinking function. The on/off button will turn blue when the blinking program is on.
On the initial setting the blinking feature will begin with only Red Light.
2. Press the on/off button again to turn on both the Red & Infrared light in blinking mode.
3. Press the on/off button a third time to turn on only the Infrared Light in blinking mode.
4. Press the on/off button a fourth time to turn off and button will no longer be lit.
When the 15 minute cycle has finished the on/off button will no longer be lit.

Caution: Only use the LED Wand with the safety glasses provided and do not look directly into or shine into human or animal eyes. LED Wand is stronger than the LED pads, wraps and rugs and can cause vision damage.
LED Wand is automatically programmed for a 3 minute cycle.
1. Press the on/off button one time. Blue and Red Light will be activated.
2. Press the on/off button a second time and wand will switch to Red Light only
3. Press the on/off button a third time and wand will emit Blue Light only.
4. Press the on/off button a fourth time and the wand will turn off.
The LED Wand will beep when switched on and when 3 minute cycle is complete.

The LED Red Light Therapy pads, wraps and poll cap are silent and produce no noise, making them great for sensitive or nervous horses. The LED Wand does emit a small beep when turned on and its cycle is complete.

If the Horseware LED product shows any signs of visible damage, cracking, rips and tears, non-functioning lights, or the product is not charging properly discontinue use.

Your LED product can be charged with the USB-C charging cord and plug provided. Simply plug the cord into the port near the on/off button and the opposite end into any USB-C transformer or port.
Once plugged in and charging the button will turn red. When fully charged the button will turn off.

Similar to our Full size leg products, the straps on the hock and leg boots are elasticated and extremely adjustable. Fit for treatment may range from Large Pony to Large Horse depending on the animal.

The Horseware LED Pad comes in a large size with two detachable velcro straps for a full range of adjustability and placement. The straps have velcro on either end and can be attached anywhere on the back of the pad.

Please refer to each product guide for cleaning instructions. As a general guide, gently wipe with a dry brush or cloth. If the pixels are dirty, a small amount of rubbing alcohol can be used on a cloth to clean the LED pixel directly. Do not submerge in water.
