To find the right size for your horse we recommend to take certain measurements of your horse and refer to our size guide above. Bear in mind that every horse is different, and this table is a guide only.

Using a soft measuring tape, measure from (A) at the center point of the chest, across the point of the shoulder and to the point (B) at the center of the tail.

When you have the measurement, remove 10cm (4inches) and choose your horse’s size from the table above.

The Amigo® Bug Rug XL Plus Fly Sheet is designed to specifically accommodate bigger-framed horses with generous sizing in the chest, a deeper overall drop, and a proportionately long included detachable hood. A 20% deeper cut gives additional room for shoulder movement and 10% longer body length covers a larger build.

Made of a soft, close-weave mesh, the lightweight and durable fabric offers 65% UV protection to help shield from sunburn or bleaching. Classic straight front, front leg arches, tail string, and two adjustable surcingles offer freedom of movement and ensure a secure fit. Finished with a silky lining on the mane, shoulder, and oversize tail flap to enhance shine and reduce friction.
