The robust 1200D polyester waterproof and breathable outer features a high-cut neck design to provide a snug fit and eliminate wither pressure with a V-Front Closure system, giving your horse freedom of movement reinforced by the blanket's unique front and rear leg arches to complement a wide range of motion and keep the turnout securely under the belly with additional belly coverage for enhanced comfort in the field.
Three cross surcingles keep the turnout securely in place, with reflective strips for increased visibility. The shine-enhancing lining has a silky feel to the skin and coat, ensuring your horse's turnout wearing experience is always enjoyable.
My Paso Fino has big shoulders with a prominent bug joint and a high set neck, but is far from the width of a Quarter horse. So: in most blankets neckline is too narrow or so big that shoulders are free. Problems when putting head to the ground. I did test the Amigo Bravo 12 Wug with the V-Front-Closure. I didn´t believe that it would fit - but it did. We use it (different weights) the second season now. Horse can move freely, and no bald spots.
We have more than one of the Amigo Bravo 12 Wugs in different weights and sizes. They fit different shapes so well with no rubs. They also stay in place. A couple of our horses are rough on blankets, and they have to really work hard to even get a small snag in the outer fabric. Highly recommend!
This is an excellent blanket. It fit my Tennessee Walker perfectly. I love the way it buckles in the front; so much easier than the belt buckle type. The 3 under belly straps are an improvement over 2 and the under tail strap is also much easier to use than leg straps. Great product!
