Disappointed with the front buckle closure. Significant wear on both the buckle and the leather after only one competition at Millstreet International.
The front buckle design also caused fit issues. My horse got stuck at the shoulders and the front mesh kept sliding backwards, leaving him uncomfortable when walking and grazing.
The rug itself is otherwise great quality, but at this price point the closure system lets it down. If I had known, I would have gone for the Disc version instead!
This is just what I have been looking for. My horse sweats up after work so has to travel home in a mesh rug even in the winter or he gets home still sweaty even though he's fully clipped. This rug is perfect for him as it keeps his back really warm but lets the sweat evaporate so he gets home dry. Really good fit for my IDX it's deep and v comfy.
Our team is delighted with the new Travel Series Rug. The mesh sides allow our horses to have airflow while the padded back keeps them warm. It is the perfect rug for weather that is too hot for a rug but too cold to travel without. The Travel Series has become an indispensable item during our trips.
