Job Description


Reporting to: Trade Marketing Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Travel Required – approximately 15 days per month
  • Identify key events – Providing measurable performance indicators to analyse the effectiveness of the relevant shows, retailer events etc.
  • Create marketing presentations and post-event reports
  • Preparing, planning, managing and executing events such as product launches, customer evenings, community events, shows, product exhibitions, etc.
  • In conjunction with the Trade Marketing Manager, plan and coordinate local, European events and trade shows; includes travel to and attendance at various events and shows
  • Manage 3rd party relationships in EU where required – PR, photoshoots, publications, advertising agencies etc.
  • Expanding and enhancing the company’s brand presence in the market place.
  • Work collaboratively with the Commercial team in HQ
  • Ensure all marketing materials are up to date and consistent with ongoing marketing strategy and ensure adhere to corporate brand guidelines
  • Assisting with implementation of marketing activities to enhance the reputation and image of the company
  • Planning and implementing marketing campaigns, including promotions & potential loyalty programme.
  • Assist with executing and monitoring an effective digital and social media strategy in line with overall marketing guidelines; co-ordinating Public Relations campaigns; preparing store communications, including briefing documents, policies and updates.
  • Devising and presenting ideas and strategies
  • Input in the design, development and translation of company brochures, mailshots, advertisements, POS etc
  • Input into the equestrian social media to ensure the brand is fairly represented and the product USP’s are portrayed.
  • Involvement in the execution of all elements of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Providing support to the Talent Acquisition function as required.
  • In collaboration with the Trade Marketing Manager and key accounts devise merchandising solutions to be rolled out in collaboration with the field sales teams including but not limited to in- store displays, Shop in Shop solutions, digital online sales support.
  • Manage the development of our sponsored rider relationships in collaboration with our Events & Sponsorship Manager by supplying stock and evaluating and identifying new opportunities in this area
  • Collaborates effectively with cross functional teams including other marketing colleagues
  • Manages, tracks and maintains marketing information, sector leads and opportunities, consumer trends and key players in the market.
  • Be proactive in identifying native digital opportunities to promote the HW brand and gain further brand presence in the market.
  • Responsible for primary market research in the European market, including direct liaison with trade customers and end consumers, plus engaging with third party research agencies to implement large scale market data analysis.
