Job Description


Horseware Ireland, the leading global manufacturer of horse and rider clothing, is seeking to recruit an ambitious, positive and highly motivated individual for the position of Telesales/Customer Support Executive, based in our European Headquarters in Dundalk.

The successful candidate will work as part of our Customer Sales & Support Team and will be tasked with dealing with customer queries while identifying and generating new sales opportunities. The goal is to help the company grow by engaging customers and developing new business opportunities.

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering first-class account management to an existing portfolio of clients
  • Developing relationships within retailer accounts - enabling upselling of our products
  • Confidently liaising with existing clients to advise on our products as well as proactive engagement to identify new account opportunities
  • Liaising with both external Sales Managers and internal departments to support, retain and grow our business
  • Working to financial targets and meeting KPIs defined by the Sales Manager
  • Working closely with our field sales teams to identify new prospective clients
  • Complete Sales related projects as required
  • Accurately processing orders and updating customer information on our in-house database
  • Maintaining a professional manner and good customer relationships at all times
  • Handle grievances in a professional and helpful manner
  • Attend shows/ events as required

 

Experience:

  • Proven experience in a high volume and fast paced telesales / customer service role
  • Proven track record in exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and administration skills
  • Experience of CRM Tools an advantage
  • Passionate about delivering customer experience above and beyond customer expectations
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
  • Fluent English is essential (additional European language would be desireable)
  • Equestrian knowledge advantageous but not essential
