Job Description


Reporting to:  HR Manager

Scope of Role:

Horseware, the leading global manufacturer of horse and rider clothing, is seeking to recruit a suitably enthusiastic and motivated individual for the position of HR Admin & Travel Co-Ordinator, based in our HQ in Dundalk.  This is a fantastic opportunity to gain extensive experience in this internationally renowned and award-winning business. 

Primarily an admin role within the HR department the successful candidate must have an excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of packages including Excel, Word & PowerPoint.  In addition, the candidate should have a good working knowledge of complex travel itinerary management and bookings.

Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside the HR Manager and HR team on all day to day activities
  • Provide excellent customer service to all employees on HR queries
  • Assist in revising company policies in line with up-to-date employment legislation and company changes
  • Provide administrative support to senior management team & directors as required
  • Provide HR support across a range of areas including, recruitment & selection, induction & onboarding, training & development.
  • Book and coordinate all domestic and international travel for directors including the preparation of travel itineraries
  • Assist with travel Visa applications and general administration e.g. filing, letters, scanning, etc.
  • Create PO’s for suppliers as required using our in-house system
  • Assist in preparation of HR presentations, job advertisements, correspondence, reports and agendas as required.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR regulations

 

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in administrative role
  • Background in travel planning/coordination is a strong advantage
  • Business / HR / Employment Law qualification
  • Highly motivated with exceptional organisational & time management skills
  • Can do attitude with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive team player
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multi-task and work on own initiative
