Reporting to: Customer Sales & Support Manager

Horseware Ireland, the leading global manufacturer of horse and rider clothing, is seeking to recruit an ambitious and highly motivated individual for the position of French Telesales/Customer Support Assistant, based in our European Headquarters in Dundalk.

The successful candidate will have a passion for generating business opportunities, delivering exceptional customer service and developing customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business whilst developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Responsible for identifying new leads/business opportunity within their area
  • Provide timely responses to all customer enquiries
  • Take ownership of all customer service issues and progress to satisfactory resolution
  • Understand customer requirements - thus creating opportunities to cross sell
  • Work within set key performance measurements defined by the department manager
  • Direct any prospects to the field sales team where necessary
  • Make outbound calls to customer accounts on new products and sales campaigns
  • Enter and update customer information onto our in-house database
  • Take and process orders in an accurate and timely manner
  • Handle all phone enquiries in a professional manner
  • Liase with internal departments and sales team


Experience & Skills
:

  • Proven experience in a high volume and fast paced telesales / customer service role
  • Proven track record in exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, a natural communicator
  • Passionate about delivering customer experience above and beyond customer expectation
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent PC skills
  • Fluent French and English is essential
  • Equestrian knowledge advantageous but not essential
