We’re mindful of the impact we make on our planet and we’re always looking for a better way forward to protect it.

We are steadfast in our commitment to operate sustainably and help to conserve the natural environment our horses and ourselves live in. We work with a number of partners to certify our materials, suppliers, and production processes and we aim to have a positive impact on the planet by reducing our carbon hoofprint.

Recycled polyester

Sustainable and eco-friendly rPET fabric, made from recycled plastic bottles, giving waste a second life. The way the world currently produces, uses, and disposes goods is unsustainable and is rapidly depleting the planet’s natural resources. Billions of plastic bottles go into landfills and oceans every year polluting the earth. We are recycling these plastic bottles and turning them into fabric. Additionally, the fabric production process requires less water, less chemicals and produces 65% less greenhouse gas emissions than the production of virgin polyester yarns.

Recycled nylon

This eco-friendly Nylon material is made from used fishing nets and leftover textile, which are being recycled and woven into new fabric. Eco Nylon is offering high quality properties being robust, durable, abrasion-resistant and lightweight. Abandoned fishing nets constitute a huge part of ocean pollution threatening marine life. We are reusing these fishing nets and leftover fabrics to create new material, giving waste a second life to keep our oceans clean. The Eco Nylon fabric we use complies with the Global Recycling Standard certification.

REPREVE®

REPREVE® is a trusted brand of recycled performance fibre made from recycled plastic bottles. Over 20 billion plastic bottles were recycled and turned into REPREVE® fibre giving waste a second life. The fill features properties like moisture wicking, adaptive warming and cooling for reliable, durable quality meeting the high standards of every equestrian athlete. REPREVE® also helps to offset the use of petroleum, emitting fewer greenhouse gases, conserving water and energy in the recycling process.

Organic Cotton

Organic cotton is naturally soft, highly breathable, lightweight and very comfortable against the skin. It does not use any chemicals in the process of agricultural production nor in the process of creating the fabric. The organic cotton we have sourced has OCS and GOTS certification to reinforce its organic heritage and prove its traceability.

Natural hemp

Hemp is one of the oldest plants in the world and is a highly sustainable crop that leaves no ecological footprint. It is highly renewable and can be harvested several times per year. This organic plant is grown without the use of any pesticides or chemicals and therefore does not pollute the soil it is grown on. Hemp boasts a range of benefits suitable for use in horse blankets as it is naturally UV protective, bio-degradable, breathable, thermodynamic, fast-drying, moisture-regulating, antibacterial, odour-resistant and durable.
