There are few people in Ireland more passionate about eventing than Ginnie Webb and the Dublin owner was rewarded for her commitment to the sport when Ballyboe Integrity landed the Horseware CNC* five and six-year-old championship at the MacGuinness family's Horseheaven on Saturday.
The Ricardo Z gelding, bred in Co. Tipperary by Gerard Marshall out of a Lucky Gift mare, led throughout under Fraser Duffy. The six-year-old received a winning dressage score of 35.0 penalties.
The Horseware Young Event Horse League showcases the best of Ireland's up and coming young event horses. It's divided into two classes: Pre-Novice for four and five-year-olds and Novice for five and six-year-olds. It is run on a point system over twelve events and a Championship Final.
