We want to congratulate Aaron Vale, winner of the most grand prix show jumping classes in a year, on his continued success. Horseware® is proud to sponsor such a great rider who not only wins a ton, but has a winning personality to boot. When we recently talked to Aaron, we asked him how he got started in his riding career. He chuckled and said that he has been riding since before he was born. Although he is originally from Texas, Aaron
started his riding career in the hunter ring instead of at the rodeos. Aaron says he always wanted to ride show jumpers and was able to get his first jumper when he was twelve. It just goes to show you that years of practice pays off.
Just look at Aaron now. In just the past month, Aaron has won the $100,000 HITS US Grand Prix League Final in Culpepper, VA, The Fendi Cup at the Hampton Classic, the $25,000 Prix De Lexington at The Kentucky National, the $10,000 Mini Prix at the Camden Fall Fling and a Lexus valued at $37,000 for the Queens Cup class in Barcelona Spain. We were out of breathe ourselves after listening to Aaron's recent show schedule, but he assured us that at least for the day we talked to him, he would be getting a little R&R at home in Aiken, SC. Aaron wasn't sure where he was going next with Harrisburg and the Capital Challenge coming up, but we will be sure to keep you updated as we forsee many more wins in Aaron's future. |
