Ted the Clydesdale, sponsored by Horseware® for many years, recently attended the Horse of the Year show, held in October, and hundreds of visitors turned up to see him. His proud owner Sally Oultram said, “He really enjoyed it. Ted has such a beautiful nature and he loves people. A lot of visitors came specifically to see him.”

“Many people identify with the story of Ted’s rescue and survival,” said Sally. “His patience, strength and supreme greatness have earned him a loyal band of supporters and he makes countless public appearances at major events around the country.”

Ted’s rise to fame is developing rapidly and his story is now the subject of a children’s book and a DVD. Sally is passionate about promoting the Clydesdale breed and has worked with the RBST (Rare Breeds Survival Trust) on a number of awareness projects.
