JustWorld International in conjuction with ‘Horseware® Ireland’ have joined forces to combat mosquito bourne Malaria diseases in Cambodia.
JustWorld International (JWI) partner, Horseware® Ireland, generously agreed to donate $2 from each sale of its Rambo® Protector Fly Rug and $1 from each sale of its Amigo Bug Rug to purchase mosquito nets in the countries where JWI is present.
Mosquito borne diseases negatively affect the health and ultimately the income earning ability of the people in the communities JustWorld serves. With help from Horseware®, JWI distributed over 10,000 treated mosquito nets and educated people about the risks and prevention of diseases including Malaria and Dengue Fever. The nets were manufactured in China and shipped to Phnom Penh where members from Horseware® Ireland helped distibute them directly to the people.
